What data we collect
From the contact form: your name, phone number, e-mail address, the type of item to be restored and the content of your message.
If you send photos by e-mail, we keep them together with your enquiry. They are used solely to prepare a quote and agree the scope of work.
We also record the IP address from which the enquiry was sent. It is used solely to limit spam, and we delete it together with the enquiry.
Why we process it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange a date and contact you while the work is in progress. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell it to anyone.
Who we share it with
Only where it is necessary to handle your enquiry:
- our e-mail provider — the address and content of messages,
- the hosting company whose server this website runs on,
- Cloudflare — protecting the form against bots; it checks the request itself, not the content of the message.
How long we keep it
We delete enquiries once the matter is closed, no later than 12 months after receiving them. Records of completed jobs are kept for as long as they are needed for accounting and for handling any complaints.
Photos of our work
We only publish photos of completed work if they do not allow the owner to be identified. That means no number plates, no VIN numbers and no interiors of recognisable homes. If you don't want your job to appear on the website or on social media, just let us know when we take on the order.
Google Map
On the home page and the contact page we show a Google map with the workshop's location. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and may store its own cookies, under the terms described in Google's privacy policy. The map loads automatically unless you choose “Essential only” in the cookie banner or save your own choice under “Customise”. In that case, instead of the map you will see a button that loads it only when clicked.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to us or give us a call and we'll do it straight away. You can withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time; this does not affect anything we did before.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
Cookies and statistics
We count visits on our own server, without storing IP addresses and without any identifier that lasts longer than a day. This lets us count how many visits there were, but not track any particular person. This counter is always on and does not require consent, because it does not store anything on your device.
We also use Google Analytics. Google stores cookies on your device and receives data about your visits, including a shortened IP address, the pages viewed and where you came from. The data goes to Google Ireland Limited and may be transferred outside the European Economic Area under the terms described in Google's policy.
- statistics are enabled by default; you can turn them off in the cookie banner on your first visit, or at any time using the privacy settings button (the cookie icon in the corner of the page),
- once they are turned off, we no longer send any requests to Google; the script is not loaded and the site works exactly the same.
Apart from that, we only store technical cookies: your choice regarding statistics and the admin panel session, which is visible only to us.
