Ventilated seats — perforation
Perforation to the factory pattern or made to order.
More about this serviceFrom Kościerzyna we mainly get seats with electronics — ventilated, heated, perforated, the kind an ordinary upholsterer won't touch.
A ventilated seat is not upholstery with holes in it. The perforation has a specific pattern and density, there's a ventilation system underneath, and often a heating mat too — and in a restoration each of the three has to be reinstated, not worked around.
We perforate to the factory pattern or a custom one. That means after restoration the seat still ventilates, instead of being a nicely trimmed piece of leather that no longer breathes.
We replace complete mats together with their wiring. During a restoration this is the cheapest moment to do it — the seat is stripped anyway, so there's no second labour charge for removal.
We take the seats out and put them back in ourselves. We don't send you to an auto electrician or another garage.
Kościerzyna is about an hour from Gdańsk. With seats that have electronics, it's worth leaving the car a little longer — we check everything works once reassembled.
Each of these services has its own page — with a description, the course of work and photos.

More about this serviceFull heating mat replacement including wiring, with removal and refitting of the trim.
More about this serviceWhen the original cover is no longer available: we source leather for your specific vehicle, matching grain and shade.
More about this serviceIf a seat, a rear bench or a panel has to come out — we do it in-house, without sending you to another garage.
More about this serviceA ventilated seat has fans and air ducts under the leather, and the leather is perforated so air can pass through it. A heated seat has a heating mat just under the cover. That's why an ordinary repair — glue, filler, thick paint — clogs the perforation or overheats on the mat and comes away after a few weeks.
When we replace a section of leather, we recreate the perforation to the factory pattern — the same spacing and diameter of the holes. We colour so that the holes stay open, and check the airflow after reassembly.
We replace a damaged mat as a whole, together with its connection to the wiring, and then refit the cover. On seats with electronics we do the removal and refitting in-house, keeping all the connectors and seat occupancy sensors.
The workshop is in Gdańsk, ul. Litewska 12 — Kościerzyna is about 50 km away in a straight line.
Send a photo of the whole thing and a close-up of the damage, or just give us a call. From that we tell you whether it can be saved.
We give you the scope of work and the price. If restoration isn't worth it, we'll say so plainly — it happens, and it's better to hear it before than after.
Cleaning, damage repair, re-colouring, protection. On larger jobs we send you progress photos.
We tell you what to care for the leather with and what damages it fastest. That usually decides whether the result lasts for years.
The quickest way is this: a photo of the whole item, a close-up of the damage and a note on what the item or part is. On that basis we'll tell you whether it can be saved and what it will cost.
