The interior of a convertible gets more sun than any other car. The leather on the tops of the backrests and on the headrests fades and hardens fastest, and the soft top loses its tightness at the seams and where the mechanism folds.
The roof
We repair and restore soft tops, replace windows — plastic and glass — and seal the seams. With a tear at a fold we also check the mechanism, because that is most often the cause: the roof tears at the spot that is constantly under tension when folding.
The interior
Leather that has hardened from the sun is softened first and only then coloured. Finally a protector with a UV filter — in a convertible it is the only thing that really extends the time until the next restoration.
