Seat and rear bench restoration
The most common job: a worn driver's seat bolster and a sagging cushion. Cleaning, filling, re-colouring and protecting the whole surface so the colour matches.
More about this serviceFrom Kwidzyn we mainly get office and executive chairs — the ones someone sits in eight hours a day.
A leather office chair wears in places that don't wear at home: on the front edges of the seat, on the armrests and on the lower part of the backrest. The rest can be as good as new, so replacing the whole chair means throwing away a working mechanism along with the cover.
The seat and armrest covers can usually be restored. If the foam under the seat has broken down — and at eight hours a day it can — we replace it together with the cover.
With a set for a conference room we work in batches and make sure the shade matches between chairs. With re-colouring that isn't a given, and it means doing them all in one run.
Kwidzyn is about an hour away. For a full set we arrange transport individually.
Each of these services has its own page — with a description, the course of work and photos.

More about this serviceFilling with repair compound and recreating the leather grain, so the repaired area doesn't stand out as a smooth patch.
More about this serviceColours matched to the type of leather: one kind for pigmented car upholstery, another for aniline and semi-aniline furniture leather.
More about this serviceOffice and executive chairs wear in predictable places: the front edge of the seat, the armrests and the top of the backrest. On faux leather chairs the coating starts peeling off in flakes; on genuine leather it wears and cracks.
Genuine leather we restore: we fill the wear, colour it and protect it. Faux leather that is peeling can't be lastingly restored with paint — here we suggest a new cover, often in genuine leather, which will last much longer.
When fitting out a practice or an office, we restore the chairs in one shade so that after restoration they look like a set.
The workshop is in Gdańsk, ul. Litewska 12 — Kwidzyn is about 72 km away in a straight line.
Send a photo of the whole thing and a close-up of the damage, or just give us a call. From that we tell you whether it can be saved.
We give you the scope of work and the price. If restoration isn't worth it, we'll say so plainly — it happens, and it's better to hear it before than after.
Cleaning, damage repair, re-colouring, protection. On larger jobs we send you progress photos.
We tell you what to care for the leather with and what damages it fastest. That usually decides whether the result lasts for years.
The quickest way is this: a photo of the whole item, a close-up of the damage and a note on what the item or part is. On that basis we'll tell you whether it can be saved and what it will cost.
