Marine upholstery
Yacht and motorboat interiors and decks. Materials resistant to sun, salt and moisture — in this environment ordinary furniture leather doesn't stand a chance.
More about this serviceFrom Koszalin and the coastal strip we get seasonal work: cars and boats that spend the summer in sun and salt and the winter under a cover.
Salt in the air does to leather what it does to paintwork, only more slowly and less visibly: it settles on the surface, dries it out and speeds up the loss of suppleness. Add sand, which acts like sandpaper in the seams.
Cleaning, because no product will bond to a deposit. Only then can you see how much of the dullness is dirt and how much is real wear of the coating.
This is the pair that makes the most sense here: softening restores suppleness to dried-out leather, and a protector with a UV filter slows the problem coming back the following season.
After the season. That's when there's time for unhurried work and shorter lead times than in spring, when everyone remembers their car in the same week.
Each of these services has its own page — with a description, the course of work and photos.

More about this serviceProducts that protect against UV, water and denim dye transfer — the most common cause of stains on light-coloured seats.
More about this serviceA lighter option for leather that isn't damaged, just tired: cleaning, conditioning and protection without re-colouring.
More about this serviceLeather exposed to the sun goes stiff — fastest of all in a car. Softening brings back its suppleness before it starts to crack.
More about this serviceSeasonal cars and boats by the sea have two modes of life: a few months in sun and salt, then a few months under a tarpaulin, often in the damp. The leather fades and dries out in summer, and in winter it picks up moisture and a bloom.
Cleaning that removes salt and bloom, softening the dried-out leather, filling the cracks and refreshing the colour. For boats we choose water-resistant materials and foams. Finally impregnation with a UV filter.
It's best to bring the upholstery in for restoration right after the season — leather protected for winter copes with being laid up much better than leather put away dirty and dried out.
The workshop is in Gdańsk, ul. Litewska 12 — Koszalin is about 162 km away in a straight line.
Send a photo of the whole thing and a close-up of the damage, or just give us a call. From that we tell you whether it can be saved.
We give you the scope of work and the price. If restoration isn't worth it, we'll say so plainly — it happens, and it's better to hear it before than after.
Cleaning, damage repair, re-colouring, protection. On larger jobs we send you progress photos.
We tell you what to care for the leather with and what damages it fastest. That usually decides whether the result lasts for years.
The quickest way is this: a photo of the whole item, a close-up of the damage and a note on what the item or part is. On that basis we'll tell you whether it can be saved and what it will cost.
